New Vids up- Timeline Creators (Timetoast feature)

Just put up a new set of videos on timeline creators, which are digital tools that help students create really professional looking timelines that they can then share by linking or embedding onto a website or blog. The featured timeline is Timetoast and the videos as always are available at TeacherTechVids.com!

Animoto Vids are up!

It's been awhile since I've been able to update some new videos, but that should change in the next few weeks. I'm going to work hard to try and get as many as I can done before the end of February, so there should be a lot of updates coming out soon.

I just put up Animoto videos: http://teachertechvids.com . They're listed in the Newbie section. Hope they help!

New Videos- Scribblar and Photostory

There are two new sets of videos up- Scribblar and Photostory. Scribblar is a really cool, collaborative whiteboard that you can use with students to do all kinds of online groupwork. Photostory is the simplest way of making really attractive movies for digital storytelling that I've found.

Check out teachertechvids.com to check them out and share with any teachers that may need some assistance!

Next up on my agenda is to work through Timetoast, which is an online timeline creator, and ePals, which is an excellent way to connect your class with other classes around the world.

Check out teachertechvids.com to check them out and share with any teachers that may need some assistance!

Next up will be MS Photostory (digital storytelling) and Scribblar (Collaborative whiteboard). Stay tuned!

Site is up and (mostly) ready!

The TeacherTechVids.com site is mostly up and ready! There are some confusing name issues going on that will hopefully be resolved soon (www.teachertechvids.com is working, but without the www is not working as of this moment...).

The month of October will be a busy one as I start rolling out all the videos. I will be shooting for 5-7 tools per week being completed. That's as much as 21 videos per week (good thing they're all under 3 minutes...).

I'm headed to Washington DC for an Ed Week event, but after that the videos will be rolling off the line. Stay tuned, as I'll update this blog as soon as they are posted!

First Post!

Why does the first post always have to be the lamest?

Anyway, this is where I'm going to start a blog to keep folks up to date on the videos being uploaded and updated as time goes on. I'm excited to begin this project!
